Our experience at Lawrence Academy has been outstanding. The faculty and staff are dedicated to making Lawrence Academy a place a belonging - somewhere students can be themselves and be appreciated for their unique talents. Orientation was a warm and fun experience for him, and he felt immediately integrated into the LA community. Academically, the curriculum is rigorous, really preparing students for college. Classes are discussion based allowing for students to better understand concepts, and yeachers are approachable and invested in helping students succeed.
Overall, Lawrence Academy has provided the ideal High School experience for our son!

We are only into the third trimester however my son is thriving and so happy at Lawrence Academy. They challenge him without the grueling schedule of many other boarding schools. As a Choate graduate I wish I had explored far beyond ranking to determine my kind of perfect high school experience. The teachers are so involved and the advisory program is top notch! My son has shown tremendous growth throughout these past few years at Lawrence Academy. With the help of his advisor, teachers and coaches, he has been challenged and has succeeded in both his academics and athletics. At LA, they encourage participation not only in the classroom but in clubs, sports, the arts and leadership roles.
